High levels of knowledge of Australian migration law, procedures and professional and ethical conduct elevates Australian agents to amongst the most professional in the world. Clients can feel assured that the Code has legal force as it is set out in Schedule 2 of Regulation 8 of the Migration Agents Regulations 1998.

You can download your copy of the Code of Conduct here.

Alternatively, you can find the Code at the MARA website.

IRMAP

Information on the Regulation of the Migration Advice Profession (IRMAP) booklet gives summarized information on what standards to expect when you are working with a registered migration agent. It explains what are the main responsibilities of an agent, where one could lodge a complaint if problems arise and how to check the registration of an agent.

It is against the law to offer migration assistance in Australia unless registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).
